Danielle Marie Blake Esters, M.D. is a board certified maternal fetal medicine specialist and clinical medical geneticist and brings to her practice over 20 years of perinatology experience.

Dr. Esters started private practice in 2002 and opened her office full time in West Palm Beach in 2006. Dr. Esters is a consultant to many obstetricians in Palm Beach County and the surrounding counties.

Dr. Esters completed her undergraduate work at Fordham University in the Bronx, New York, and received her medical degree from the State University of New York, Health Science Center in Brooklyn. After a one year internship in Internal Medicine, she went on to complete an OB/GYN residency at Downstate Medical Center / King's County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.

Dr. Esters received subspecialty training as a fellow in perinatology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
After completion of perinatology fellowship Dr. Esters served as Director of Special Studies in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine while on faculty at Charles Drew School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California. She subsequently completed a research fellowship in Fetal Echocardiography at Yale University School of Medicine in Connecticut, and shortly thereafter completed a fellowship in Clinical Medical Genetics at Harbor / UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Esters has served on faculty at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington. She has been published in various journals and a textbook, has had research presentations at national meetings, presented at conferences, and has made television appearances related to medical issues.

Dr. Esters brings extraordinary training and seasoned experience to her maternal fetal medicine practice and is happy to serve the obstetric communities of Palm Beach County and the surrounding counties. Referring physicians can trust her to communicate to them all diagnoses of their high risk patients and recommendations for management as they partner in caring for their mutual patients. Dr. Esters believes that all patients should be informed about the status of their pregnancies and involves them in all aspects of their care. Her ultimate goal is to have the best possible outcome for mother and fetus/newborn as problems in the pregnancy are properly addressed in a warm and caring manner.
